I am originally Brazilian, now living in Munich. Due to my work in the “profit” sector, I have travelled around the world and lived in several countries. I am married and we have a lovely baby son. Music is in my heart and this is very important to me! I would like to do something in my life so that I can look into the face of my growing son and show him by example that his father is concerned and doing something to make our world a better place for us all! I hope to help EACN using my professional experience – I believe my project management, sales and marketing skills can always be beneficial. I have also led many teams in the world, both in person and virtually. I consider myself able to provide good writing skills, which will satisfy the requirements of the volunteer vacancy. I therefore wish to start with writing first and we will see how things unfold. I want to be involved because I have worked in Africa for a couple of years. I know the situation there and would be happy to change the world perception of Africa. Generally with my background in the private sector, I believe I can bring strategic thinking, opinion formation and key messages to the campaign. I am used to working independently without supervision and I am always committed to deadlines. I would be very happy to work virtually with flexible times, and I therefore think all these will be advantageous to the cause of the EuroAfricaCentral Network.”
Rosa Förster – EAMN Hamburg, Editorial Desk – Student of Philosophy and Ethnology at The University of Hamburg, Germany
“I grew up in one of the very socio-multicultural parts of Hamburg, so I grew up in a multi-ethnic/multicultural environment. I am very open-minded, friendly and positively inclined. I like life’s philosophy and Philosophy itself. I also like getting to know different cultures and values of life, how people see things from a different perspectives. I am 22 years old and in my fourth semester of philosophy and ethnology.  In the past I have completed half a year of voluntary work for Greenpeace, and I’m an active member of Viva Con Aqua, an aid organisation for water sources in the third world. I heard about EAMN from an information sheet at the university, where EAMN is listed as one of the accredited organisations working together with our internship programme unit. I want to be involved because I’m interested in Africa and its culture.”

Lüder Meyer – EAMN Spain – Translator for EuroAfrica Media Network
Writing about himself, Lüder says: “I was born in Germany, but two and a half years ago I decided to move to Barcelona, Spain, for a degree course in Translation and Interpretation (Spanish, German, and English) at Pompeu Fabra University. At the same time, I’ve also been working for three years as a freelance translator. During my studies I have visited other countries such as Mexico and the USA, where I took courses which included courses on African History. That is how I became interested in this wonderful, yet underestimated continent. It makes me happy to be able to contribute to this site by offering my translation skills.
